I'd love to get to know the members of this community better! Please tell me a little bit about yourself!

I'll start...

I'm 22 and have been married 3 1/2 years to John David. We were 19 and 20 when we married!! We both graduated from Tennessee Tech University with degrees in Agriculture Communications in 2008. John David works as the Media Director at our church and I work from home about 20 hours a month for Tennessee Farmers Cooperative in Communications on their publication The Tennessee Cooperator! My real calling is being a wife to John David! I love being a homemaker and caring for him! We are expecting our first child, Paxton, on April 21! We are thrilled to be welcoming a little person into our family! I'm looking forward to becoming a mother but know I have lots to learn about mothering and raising a child to become a fully devoted follower of Christ. My interests include reading, sewing, bargain shopping, cooking & budgeting (I know that makes me weird!)

Hi All!

I am almost 34 and I have been married to my very best friend Kenny for about 4 1/2 years.  We have done everything out of order!  We have 3 boys, Zackery- almost 12, Lukas -8, and Nikolas- 7.  I love being a mom and think it is the most important reason I was put on this earth!  I graduated from Fresno State (Go Dogs!) in May 2001 after having our middle son in March.  It was an interesting time in my life!  I earned my master's degree and teaching credential in 2005.  It was a lot of work with three little people, but it has been worth it!  I love teaching, but I long to be a SAHM.  We're working on that goal!  We bought our first home in 2007 and are slowly getting it the way we want it!  I love crafts, sewing, cooking, and hanging out with my monkeys!

Hi, my name is Julie.  I am 42.  I have been married for 13 years and am a  mother to 4 energetic kids.  I have degrees in biology and chemistry, but am now a SAHM.  My two oldest are 8 year old boy/girl twins, my third child is a girl and is 6 yrs old.  My youngest is a boy and is 2 yrs old.  We currently homeschool our three oldest, my youngest is just playing through life at this time, as he should :)   We are debt free with the exception of our home and are working very digilently to get that paid off in 15 yrs.  We just bought a "new to us" home because with 4 kids and just about 1000 sq ft and no garage we were being over taken.   My interests are sewing, craftng, gardening, cooking, baking and my family,.  I love the thrill of couponing/bargin shopping. (It's fun to see howmay items you can get for a small amount of $) My interests are not necessarily in any order.

I  cook/bake most everything from scratch and have a relatively large garden that will be even larger this year.  Myself and my kids have food sensitivies that has somewhat forced us to eat  fairly health.  Because of the food sensitivies that require us to buy different flours etc.  my food bill will never be under $100.00/week  for a family of 6, but maybe with a larger garden we  can get close next year.  We are trying to live as green as we can in this life of materalism.  For a family of 6 I think we do pretty well!

Hello everyone!

I am a 28 year old (soon to be 29) who has been married for 2 1/2 years.  Hubby and I have no children...other than our 2 year old , 200 pound pot bellied pig that lives with us indoors.  They say a PBP is like having a 2 year old at all times which is very trying.  But I love him to pieces.

I am a Purchasing Agent for a small business in Cleveland, OH.  All that means is that I get to look for good deals all day, and spend someone else's money! :-)  My husband is a machine operator for a plastics company.

We have aquired quite a bit of debt over the years and are very determined to pay it all off this year (a total of $25,000 worth!) except for our mortgage.

We originally lived in a house in the city of Akron, but moved to our present location (out in the country) about 2 years ago.  Because I am very frugal (sometimes to the point of being cheap), we bought this fixer-upper house for $35,000 at auction.  We are fixing it up room by room which has taken some time and we still need another couple of years to completely finish.

We also purchased the house next door last October.  It was a foreclosure with a 1/2 acre of land. We bought it for $7800.   Not only do we use the house for storage while we are fixing up our house, it doubled our property size.  We couldnt pass it up.  One day, we will tear down the house on that land, but for now, we are happy with the way things are.  There are only 3 houses on our dead end road - and we own 2 of them. :-)

I love to garden, but due to the newness of the house and soil, we didnt do very well last year.  I pretty much grew what I could on our back porch in pots.  2 tomatoe plants & 50 strawberry plants along with red raspberries (in the ground).  This year, I hope to grow alot of tomatoes, greenbeans, and zuchs to can.

Hubby and I believe in frugality and making the most of our money.  We are very strict with our budget but feel we are entitled to have some fun too!  We love to travel, and our passion (jointly) is wine!  We discovered it together 3 years ago and havent looked back since!  Our dream is to one day sell our own wine to the public.

Hi Rachel,
I am Drea, 27 and have been married for 3 years. I have 2 kids 2 and 8 months. I stay at home with them and love every second. I love to blog, sew and cook. I work on strengthening my relationship with God everyday.

Look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi there.  My name is Amy, and I'm 30.   I have a 1 1/2 year old little boy, and another one on the way in May.      Though I taught for 5 years, I resigned last January to stay home.   Oh, how I love it!    Though its challenging at times, I know this is so God's plan for my life at this point.

While being home, I enjoy bible studies and mommy groups, especially my local MOPS group.   I'm learning to become a better cook and baker, as well as trying out some new mommy stuff...most recently, cloth diapers!

Hello!

My name is Rachel (22), and I have been married to Rob (24) for two wonderful years. We are expecting our first baby this year as well- due June 24th! Rob and I met in our first year at Cincinnati Christian University and we both recieved degrees in Biblical Studies (mine with psychology and his with Worship and Music). We are at a big transition point in our lives as Rob seeks a full-time ministry position! Right now, I work from home doing some freelance writing on the web while Rob is in retail. Over the next few years, we hope to pay off all our school debt following Dave Ramsey's plan- it's all about gazellel intensity! lol

My passions include couponing, frugal living, gardening, travel, hiking, reading and home-making. I love cooking new recipes and tend to make messes often, lol.

I'm 22 years old (turning 23 in June), live in North Florida with my hubby-to-be and our cute 3lb Chihuahua. I work for a lobbyist and blog for a few cooking/food sites. I grew up as the only girl, I have a brother and all guy cousins (except now they all are married and ironically all have daughters).

I have a passion for all sports, playing and watching. I love to watch the Florida State Seminoles (my alma mater), New Orleans Saints (family lives all over Louisiana), Orlando Magic and Atlanta Braves.

However, I do love to organize, cook, craft, scrap, clean, and even do laundry (I find it relaxing-haha). One day my mom and I hope to open a home decor-gift boutique with a small cafe, so we both can combine our hobbies to really do something we love.

Hi! I'm Shannie, 36. I've been married for 8 years and have twin daughters who are 5.  I work outside the house as a graphic designer.  I am trying to "find myself" again after dedicating myself to raising my girls for the last few years.  They are spending more and more time on their own and I am finding myself with free time that I am not sure how to fill. :)

I love photography, cooking (but not cleaning), sewing, reading,  veggie gardening and anything my kids are doing!  My husband and I are avid movie goers (we both worked at a cinema before we were married) and we like watching television together when the girls go to bed and the cartoons are off.

Hello!

My name is Danielle. I am 29 (30 in November) and I am a SAHM to three boys, ages 10, 2, and 11 months. My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years (our 3rd anniversary is coming up on Aug 7th!). My husband is amazing and adopted my 10yr old son 2 years ago. I cloth diaper, baby wear, co-sleep the first year, and breastfeed as long as I can. I have milk-production issues, so my record is 9 1/2 months. I also homeschool my 10yr old.

I have an Associates Degree in Business Administration, but found that it wasn't the right degree for me, so when I go back to school, I am planning on switching to Linguistics and learning to speak either Chinese or Japanese.

Right now, my focus is on my boys and raising them. We want at least three more children (crazy, I know, to have 6 kids when most families only have 1 or 2 these days, but 6 seems right to us!).

I enjoy sewing, crocheting, reading, swimming, biking, and camping. I do not enjoy cooking or cleaning, but I sometimes decide to engage in both those activities for my husbands mental well-being!

I look forward to getting to know everyone here!
