This may or may not help you...and you may think it's rude. I have gifts in my basement that were given to me but not practical for me and my family. I regift them when appropriate (I have some things stockpiled for my son-in-law this year) and some I use for the white elephant game with my family (we call it a $5 gift game and everything has to be under $5 -- it was free for me so that fits the criteria!).
