What do you do while waiting for big news?

Right now we are waiting to hear about The Hubby's fathers visit to the cancer clinic. I have been keeping busy on Blog Frog to pass time.

What do you do while waiting for news?

When I was waiting for my mom's genetic tests to see if she had the breast cancer gene, I blogged about it. Writing about it help me get out some of those nervous feelings, but I was still really anxious! If she had the gene, that meant me and my daughters might have it. Her tests were negative, but the doctors said we still must have some genetic connection to breast cancer since we have a lot of family history with it.

I hope your father-in-law gets some good news! Keep us updated!

Found out that they "think" he has stage 3 cancer. He is to go for 5 weeks of chemo and radiations before they can do surgery.

I write...but lately I just have been vegging out. I think I just needed to relax!

Absolutely! When I'm stressed out, there's nothing like sitting on the couch watching TV. I just don't have energy to do anything else. I'm sorry to hear that he's in Stage 3.

Thanks Ginny Maire, ends up I didn't read the whole conversation on FB (why do people do that? Spread word like this via FB) and missed the part that he has throat cancer, stomach cancer and lypnoid cancer.

I don't understand why people share news like that on FB, either. It sounds like your father-in-law has a long road ahead of him. I'm thinking of you!

I know what you mean about FB. It's just I use FB for the blog and try not really to put personal things on it. I know a lot of people like this change because they can always look at my status or page and get up lifted by things I find on FB or the internet.

So sorry to hear he's in stage 3... Vegging out sometimes is the best thing when your mind is so full  - just watching a silly t.v. show or movie is all I usually can handle.
