Have you ever locked yourself out?

I just did last week...and I didn't have my cell phone with me! I felt rather ditzy.

Have you ever locked yourself out? It would make me feel better if you have. ;)

I think my house and car are "Barb" proof. We have a keypad on the back door, so unless I loose my memory or the batteries die I can always get in and my car's fob won't let me lock it in the car. Thank goodness for modern technology!

Barb-proof! I love it. We are talking about getting a keypad for the garage door so I don't lock myself out again. ;)

I used to do it all the time but now I have a reputation in the family and their is always a "hidden" key that the rest of the family knows about ;)

I have a couple times yes.  Years ago I locked my Mom's keys in her truck.  Funny (well now it is anyway) is that she had just told me not to lock the keys in the car and I said "I am not an idiot" (I was 17 back then) and well guess what? I came back to tell my Mom I locked her keys in the truck.

Another time is when I lived in an apartment with automatic locking doors.  I was unloading groceries, thought I propped the door open when I went back for more groceries.  Well it turns out that I didn't prop the door open and was now locked out with groceries in hand.

I had to call maintenance and pay $20 for them to come out and unlock the door lol!

That apartment made me always (and I mean always) check my pockets for my keys before leaving the house :)

Yes :(  It's so frustrating because it has happened when I needed to get somewhere!  The times that I have done this I have to stop and realize that I am just hurrying tooooo much.  I need to slow down.  It's kind of one of my indicators..life is going tooo fast. :(
