My favorite subject is probably science. We have so much fun doing experiments and making things hands-on. My tip for science would be to live it and not just read about it.

Literature and history are my favorites. I much prefer to read 'real' books and tie the two subjects. Text books are b.o.r.i.n.g. to me. My tip would be to use your library as much as possible, and read, read, read everyday! :)

Favorite subject? hmmm, I think it changes as my kids get older. When they are young I love science and math, but as they get older I leave those subjects to great homeschool textbooks. I really like government and logic with my older ones!

I totally agree with Tracy. We're using Sonlight and our reading time is our favorite of the day. We have been learning so much this year in the history/literature department. Learning always came easily for me and my husband says I'm a terrible teacher. I get impatient with the kids, so I really need to work on this. What's great about Sonlight is I'm not teaching them, we're really all learning together.
