Just noticed that you weren't on the TOS Crew anymore. Your presence will be missed. I'll keep following your blog and your community here on Blog Frog. Thanks for all of the help you have given me this past year.

Tim

Thank you Tim.  I'll formally announce that I stepped down from TOS on my blog on Monday or Tuesday.  It was a decision that we needed to make for our family.

Incorporating several new review products into our homeschool each month made it difficult to accomplish our personal educational goals not too mention keep our priorities straight.

When we told the children that we weren't going to be reviewing so many  different homeschool things they began cheering and jumping and asking when we were going to get back to our normal "school".  It was certainly a validation that Mark and I had made the right decision.

We are all excited to get back to learning together as a family about God's Word, His world and His story, using the books and materials that we know and love and have chosen for our homeschool.

I enjoyed my time on the Crew forum and getting to know many of the other wonderful people on the Crew and I will miss our conversations, but this has been a wonderful decision for our family!

Let's do keep in touch!

I was wondering how you managed to do all the reviews and maintained your own family vision.  I was recently looking at and thinking about applying for TOS crew, but I have enough trouble getting everything done now!  Your honesty here makes me realize that I should go with my gut feeling and leave well enough alone!

We'll miss you Kimberly, but I'm happy you know when to say "when."  Being on the Crew does demand a tremendous amount of time and it truly is a challenge to bring all these products into your homeschool without beginning to question what you're doing (or not doing) and losing sight of the big picture.  There are blessings as well.  I'll continue to look forward to reading your thoughts here and on your blog.

Kimberly,  I thought you had been missing but wasn't sure.  Hate to see you go but I totally understand about doing what is right for your family.  Good luck and hope to keep in touch.   Trying to follow you here and on your blog.  Hope I can do it.

Kimberly,

Your presence on the crew board will be greatly missed. I'm glad I had the opportunity to get to know you there and will continue to visit your blog.
