I am New here and trying to met people since it seems like my BF community is broken, It takes me to a blank community sometimes with discussions and then sometimes it takes me to My community that has followers and no one responding to the discussions or starting any, lol

This year there is SO much going on at Blogher 2010. It could be me but it definitely seems like a lot more than last year....

So with everyone's schedules filling up so quickly, trying to make it to everything AND the conference sessions- what are your tips to keeping on track and keeping organized? Is it even possible?

Ive started a Blogher folder and for the parties Ive been printing out each invite to keep track.

This morning I posted about how my daughter apparently thinks my son/ her brother's name is "Where Are you?" .... and it got me thinking about other things kids mis-interpret or mis-pronounce when they're little.

It kind of makes me a little sad when they learn how to say it the right way.

My son use to say "Ocha" for Soda and "Dine-a-coke" for diet coke... He still says Mee-los for Meatlof and Val-cation for Vacation at 5yrs old.

What are some funny things your kids have have mispronounced?

And there are 2 kids screaming crying on & off.

Maybe it's the mom in me-- but this doesn't get me annoyed... I actually feel terrible for the Mom (who is traveling solo I might add) because I've been there. ... Granted, not to this extent with screaming kids... But I know the stress of flying w/kids not knowing if they're going to cry, if their ears are going to hurt or if you a going to be able to calm them down.

And so as I sit here, I feel bad for that mom those poor babies who may be scared to death...

Now, the chicks sitting behind me complaining about the babies, as they cheer on the world cup like this plane was a sports bar--- THEY, are pissing me off!!!

Thoughts? Do crying babies bother you on planes?

Love Hate Relationship with Shorts & Rompers

I am LOVING the new Rompers out this summer, like this one:

I must confess, I've purchased 4 different ones already..... but the truth is? I dont know where I thought I was wearing them? Every time I put them on I become unselfconscious.

Before this summer, I didn't even wear shorts. But, recently I've kind of reached a level of "SCREW IT"... Why should I deprive myself of great fashion just because Mama didn't bless me with the legs of Heidi Klum?

What do you think? Do you wear shorts? Are you extra selfconscious in them?

Anyone else going to EVO?

I cannot even believe its this week already!

I am so excited... and nervous all at the same time. Excited to connect with everyone there, but nervous as all hell about the 5 hour flight to get me there.... is 9am too early to drink a few cocktails?

	Anyone else going?

I am once again making an effort to Stumble more (and not the 1-Glass-Too-Many- kind of stumbling )...

I know how important & effective Stumble Upon and all the other bookmarking sites are-- it's just a bit overwhelming sometimes.

So I am thinking of trying out the 'Buddy System', cause everything is easier with friends- right?

I stumble your favorite posts, you stumble mine? What do you think?

	Anyone interested?
