Have you had any problems using expired coupons? I never tried but have snuck in a couple at different stores and have not had a problem so far. Just curious what your experience has been?

No I haven't, but thekrazycouponlady site (if I remember correctly) the end of Feb. had information about sending them to military families-who can use them at the military stores, for some time past their expiration.  I thought that sounded really nice-unfortunately I had just thrown mine away!  I am going to remember the end of this month.  You can send them to her, and she sends them in-there are directions on how to do it.

Stores will not get reimbursed for expired coupons and using expired coupons makes us all look bad.

Do something wonderful with your expired coupons and send them to military families who can use these coupons up to 6 months after the expiration date. Here is information from couponmom about Operation Expiration: http://www.couponmom.com/index.php?cid=451

I collect expired coupons at church and send out a Priority Mail envelope STUFFED with coupons every two months. Last month I sent 3 lbs 12 oz of coupons.

Bed Bath and Beyond not only honors their own expired coupons, but if you forget to bring them with you when you shop, you can bring them in later with your receipt and they'll do an adjustment and refund the difference.

That's pretty amazing to me...

The cashier at Fred Meyer recently told me that they recycle the UPC code, so the cashier has to manually read the expiration date before scanning it. Thus...if they make a mistake you get to push the coupon through!

I'm with Meghan, don't use them unless the store policy states you can.  Otherwise it makes us all look bad, and makes it so they will stop taking legit coupons. (Trust me, I know the temptation is there!)

And thanks Meghan, for sharing the link.  I've been saving my expired coupons for this reason, but didn't have anywhere to send them! :)  Time to go through them, sort them, and send them on their way!

Ooh, I'm going to do it! And I'm going to send my unwanted coupons too. Thanks for the link!
