What are some of your favorite things to do on a Sunday? How do you usually spend the day?

Sundays are WAY too structured for us. We're the family that rarely goes to church because of the kids...when we should be going to church FOR the kids. I feel horribly guilty.

We usually spend the morning doing something as a family...a trip to the zoo, beach, library, etc...

Then naps.

The second half of the day I spend cleaning up and grocery shopping to prep for the daycare kids in the morning.

What do you do?

Well, most Sundays we go to church in the morning. We go unless someone is sick. Sometimes we are out of town visiting family. On some Sundays we will go out to the cemetery to see Carleigh's grave and we might grab a bite to eat at a restaurant. If there's a race on NASCAR my hubby will be watching that. Sometimes I'll take a nap or get on the computer. My daughter Kyndra and I will play together too and bug Daddy while he's watching the race. Just a laid back kinda day most of the time.

Our little family goes to church in the morning and then after lunch we usually all lay down for a nap together. This started when James was born because Sunday's were always to sad for me because every pregnancy and child I have lost has been on a Sunday. So when James came home it was so comforting to snuggle up and enjoy sometime as a family resting. We have just kept it going and enjoy our relaxing lazy Sundays :-)

We go to church in the morning and lately Sunday's have been our yard day.  Chad mows the grass and waters it.  I normally clean up the house and do some laundry.  After the chores are done, we make the rest of the day a lazy/comfy clothes day.

On Sundays we always go to church first at 8AM mass and then head up to the cemetery for a visit with Peyton. Her grave is in walking distance from the church, so on nice days we just walk. After our visit, my husband and I try to stay out all day on some kind of a road trip, we catch some breakfast and then drive. It's nice to get out of the house and away from the grief for a while. As the time has passed since Peyton's death we have come back sometimes to do errands, but we usually try to just enjoy the day. Day trips are something we always loved to do before Peyton's birth, and we have tried to hold onto that as a way to keep focus on eachother as a couple.
