Well, we're (Elisa and Caroline) both Mormon mommies, and MMB originally began as a blog aggregate, simply to show how many Mormon mommy bloggers there were. 

As we've grown in size, we've tried to help other's connect through blogging. 

Before working together on MMB, Elisa and I didn't know each other at all. Now we're very dear friends, and we finally met in person this year! 

It's crazy to think of all the amazing friendships that have come from blogging, but that's why we do it. 

Oh, and Elisa is in Utah, and I'm just outside of Washington DC. ;)

I attended the conference  in salt lake...weren't you there?  Maybe I am confused.  Anyway, thanks for starting a community!

I started blogging because a friend who moved to the US did. I liked to read hers so she said I should do one. 2 years later I'm still going almost daily!

I agree on the scrapbooking thing ;) my blog is the scrapbook :)

I post crafts, recipes, and deep mama musings on my blog. I like to try and be funny, though not sure how humourous I am :)

I'm Charlotte and I consider myself a MMB because I'm 1- Mormon,  2- Mom to 6 kids, 3- blog.

My blog began when I began preparing to move far away from all my family.  It became public when I found out about the joy of google reader and wanted to be able to have my friends use it for my blog.  After that it took on a life of its own.

I live in New England and spend a significant portion of my time convincing my family they want to post on their blogs more often.

I'm Melissa Mc from Gerbera Daisy Diaries...I'm a Mormon, and a Mommy and have a blog, but don't necessarily post about Mommish things -- I READ -- lots, and lots of books, so I post my literary thougths and reviews.

I started my static site in 2003 to share photos and book reviews with my mom (the book reviews are now on their own blog - Miss Giggles' Book Log). In 2006 I was assigned to start a blog for a class for my Masters degree and added it to my website. I got the name for my site from my fifth grade students who nicknamed me Miss Giggles. Since students can come up with worse nicknames than that, I grabbed it and ran with it.

I currently live in Arizona, but I'm from heaven.
