Some people love being referred to as a mommy blogger.

Other people... not so much.

What about you? Do you love the term? Hate it? Maybe you just don't even care. ;)

We want to know what you think about mommy bloggers and their ever expanding influence online....

Let me just say this: I am a mother first and foremost. Then, I am a blogger. If you want to call me a MommyBlogger go right ahead. I DO blog about my kids and my family.

I don't mind the term either. Doesn't bother me at all.

I agree. It helps keep my priorities in line.

I don't mind the term, but I don't like the way some people refer to it. Like, "oh, you're just a MOMMY BLOGGER, pfffft."

That being said, I think women bloggers shouldn't all be lumped into this category. Some don't have kids, some don't blog about family stuff. Those are the bloggers that need a different "label". You know, if you like labels and all.

That being said, why do you think there is such a negative association with the term?

Because motherhood is generally devalued in today's society.

Exactly

I think there are still a lot of negative associations with stay at home mothering, or even stay at home working. Because people are jerk faces that don't understand stuff.
