Today, I want to issue a challenge! On Saturday, we read a fantastic post by Mrs. Carol Alexander called Hang in there, Mama where she told the story of her being a cheerleader for a tired mom in the grocery store checkout line and encouraged all of us with young children to 'stay the course'.

Coincidentally, on Saturday I was one of those moms with unruly children in the grocery store. The cheerleading I received from fellow moms was invaluable for keeping the situation from putting me in a bad mood, instead I came away encouraged and excited to be a mommy.

Let's take this week and be cheerleaders for one another. You don't have to post here if you don't want, (although you can post and let us know you're following the challenge if you want!) but whenever you're out and about- look for those who need encouragement and be there with godly words of hope. Read others blogs and encourage them. Call someone you haven't in a while and tell them to hang in there.
