We're reading about the Importance of starting a family ministry today At the Well. Lisa talks about a family ministry, she's not talking about something specific that only happens once in a while, like buying toys for Toys for Tots- she's talking about every day, or every week actions and activities that we purposefully engage in to serve other people and spread the Gospel. (Not that buying toys for Toys for Tots is bad! It's a good way to teach your children about the importance of giving for Christmas instead of just getting but we're talking year round here like visiting a nursing home every Saturday or cooking meals for grieving or sick families)

So, what are your recommendations for involving your children in ministries? Do you have any specific ministries that you got involved in specifically so you children could participate?
