Do You have a FaceBook "Like Page" for your blog...?

Started by Simone (Mrs Readalot) , author of Greatfun4kids 9/1/2010 4:50:04 PM

I've just recently added a Facebook Page for my blog as another tool to help promote it

Do you have one for your blog? If so so you find that it helps bring in any more traffic?

I want to find other blogs with FB Like Pages so I can add you to my page's favourites... and vice versa!

Leave your FB Page Link Below and one sentence about your blog... and I'll add you to my likes and Page Favourites...

My FaceBook Page link is...

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Greatfun4kids/147688145253733

"Sharing the rollercoaster journey of life as honestly and wittily as possible"

My page is three days old so hard to tell if it brings in any new traffic...!

I don't have a Facebook Fan Page because I have so many friends who span the blogging/ IRL world that I just use my personal FB page for both my blog and friends/ family.

You can find me on Facebook under Sunday Stilwell

I do have a FB page, but I don't get much traffic from it.  I have only a few people there who were already followers on my blog; but I like to use to post random stuff, stuff that has nothing to do with my blog, and sometimes, they turn into conversations.. like about fried pickles, lol.

Hi Simone,

The link to your page above doesn't work.

I just made one as well. I was using my personal profile but wanted to expand more into talking about the topic of my website/business and didnt want to annoy my family/friends.

Pages are a really great way to drive traffic. Also they help in connecting further with visitors and getting them to come back to your blog again. You can do more than just get people to "like" you. You can connect your blog, twitter, etc. and start conversations with your readers.

I have a facebook pages and for the people that are on it - it has worked. I have a lot of people tell me thats when/how they see a new post is up and go read it. Im happy that not everyone one of my 'likes' is a family member too! lol.

I do have one, but I don't know if it helps with more traffic.  I have a good number of people who "like" it, but I don't know if they actually read my blog when there is a new post.  lol

If you want to check it out, it is:

I do have a Facebook page for the blog, but I have to say I am not sure how much traffic it brings in.  I decided to do it so that it would feed posts into there automatically versus my main feed.  And then I just share them to my personal feed when I want to.

Hard to tell, for me, what comes from my "like" page and what comes from other people sharing links, etc.

Hey everyone... I've stopped in and visited all your pages and I LIKE them (LOL)...

Can you do me a favour and test my link... and let me know if it's still not working? Thanks :)
