Spring Cleaning {My Blog}

I feel like doing some spring cleaning on my blog! I just redid my header but I feel like it's needs something more (the blog, not the header) The last time I revamped, I took down all my sidebar images and replaced it all with text to simplify things, now I'm thinking I may want to go back.

What are your thoughts on this kinda thing? Is it better to have pretty graphics or plain and simple text? TIA!

I've seen both work really, really well. You just have to stay organized. I think your blog looks really nice and it's easy to read. It's got a minimalist-cool thing going on!

I think your blog looks awesome! My only suggestion would be to move the site announcements to the sidebar. When I go to a blog I want to dive right into the posts, anything between the posts and the header just annoys me. But I think the site looks great - plain and simple, yet beautiful and organized! :)

For me, it's completely dependent on the execution and the style of blog. I think you should do what you want and what you feel looks best! I like both.
