Promoting Giveaways Help!

Started by Jayme , author of The TaterTwins 5/26/2010 6:35:05 PM

I have two giveaways up on my blog right now, with very low entries.  I know I won't see the huge numbers like other blogs because
1) My blog isn't huge
B) I'm not normally a review/giveaway blog and
III) I am not making readers jump through hoops to enter (just having them comment, not offering a brazillion extra entries for things)

I have several more upcoming giveaways, and some the companies
asked for me to do all the extra entry stuff.  But for the current two and the others without that, how do I get the numbers up there without asking people to blog it or tweet it?

Have you posted to your facebook page? Twitter works well. Also find the least amount of work required = more entries, so glad to hear you don't have hoops set up :).

Promote through Online Sweepstakes, Prizey, and TONS of linkups for giveaways (do a Twitter search for "inky" or #giveaway hashtag) there are several going on all the time. Here's a list that's kind of old but is a good place to start:

I have a huge amount of views on my blogs but my giveaways have very low entries. I have tried everything even listing them on sites that promote giveaways and still dont get a good response so don't feel bad you are not the only one.
