I have an entire blog dedicated to cleaning tips! But, my favorite is just to do one thing each day. I'm not a fan of spending entire days cleaning!

I use baking soda to get out tough stains on my kitchen counters.

50/50 mix of peroxide and laundry soap gets out almost any carpet stain!  Even old grape juice!

For stuck on food/grease on the stove top or under the burners (you know those metal under-the-burner-things-whatever they're called) make a thick paste baking soda and water, apply liberally, let sit a few minutes and scrub away.  Works like a charm!

I keep a basket in our family room where I put the toys, school papers, etc that I pick up and seem to multiply overnight. When the basket is full, the kids know to take it to their room and unload it!

I discovered that Windex will take pencil and crayons off the wall!  A must when 2 year olds are running around.

Having a place for everything & everything in it's place is one of my favorite motto's. It does worlds in keeping your house clean & allows cleaning to take a lot less time.

There's a nonprofit that calls me about once a month or so and asks for donations for their thrift store. They come to my door to pick-up. So, I ALWAYS say "yes" ... then I'm forced to survey the house and get rid of anything and everything that I don't need!

I "let" the kids help me clean spots in the carpet when they get in trouble.  I use SWIPE and it is the best ever!
