Too much...

Started by Kelsey , author of A Barefoot Soul 11/12/2010 12:01:05 PM

I have a tendency to see a fabric that I LOVE and buy a yard or two to keep around for the day that a project strikes my fancy, so I will have just the right fabric. What about you? Are you squirreling away some supplies for a rainy day? How many are you keeping around? Is there such a thing as too much?

Kelsey, I LOVE to sew, but as I've gotten older and my living accomodations grow smaller (lol), I've gotten really good at not hoarding fabric. But, honestly, if I could devote an entire room to just fabric, I'd be a happy camper. :)

That's awesome that you can avoid that, Pam! Are you just buying for whatever project you're working on, or are you managing to whittle away the stash you had?

My mom used to have a special room for all her fabric and knitting supplies.

I loved to check everything out.

I don't buy that much anymore as I have arthritis in my fingers and find it difficult to sew now.
