That'll get you started, but here's a great article with a lot more tips. 

Here's how I use it: I have the toolbar on my desktop so sometimes (when I'm watching TV ;) I just hit the stumble button and see different sites and give it a thumbs up or down, then hit stumble again. 

You can pick a category on the toolbar too - like crafts, design, whatever. Or you can just stumble everything.
