My husband would choose this one, which doesn't really have a name.  Maybe "Stew Beef Almost Stroganoff" would work.

a package of beef stew meat (about a pound)
one can cream of mushroom soup (the healthy kind - low fat or low sodium)
a small onion, sliced in slivers
sour cream (about 1/4 to 1/2 cup)

Put the stew beef in the slow cooker.  Add the onions and the mushroom soup.  Sprinkle with a little garlic powder if you like.  Cover and cook on low for a few hours until meat is nice and tender.  Before serving, stir in a generous spoonful of sour cream and stir.  Serve over cooked egg noodles.

You can include a small can of mushrooms if you really like mushrooms.  Double the recipe to serve a bigger family.

I cook almost everything in my crock-pot.   My favorites are cheesy potatoes, chilli, roasted chicken, lasagna, stew.......

How about a recipe?  : )

My favorite 2 crock pot recipes are because they are both easy and delicious!
Jane's meat(originally Aunt Jane's recipe)
3 pounds of chuck roast
1 package dry french onion soup mix
5 beef boullion cubes
Cook on low 9 hours in crock pot, shred and serve with sandwich buns.

Salsa Beef Burritos
Chuck roast
jar of salsa
Cook on low and shred. Place on a tortilla and with cheese. Roll up and bake until cheese is melted or put in microwave to melt.

Oh Gina, such a rule breaker!  I said ONE!  (he he)  Thanks for sharing!  Yum!

My family likes cranberry-pineapple pork roast (I haven't made this in quite a while but now that's it getting cooler....)

3 lb. pork roast

1 can whole cranberry sauce

1 can frozen pinapple juice, thawed

1/2-3/4 c. sugar, to taste

Slap roast in crock pot, season with S&P.  Mix together the rest of ingredients and pour over roast. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

*The original recipe called for frozen cranberry juice (thawed) but I thought it might be too tangy for us so never tried it that way*

Cranberry Chicken

2 lb package frozen chicken tenderloins

mix and pour on top:

1 can wholeberry cranberry sauce

1 pkg Lipton Onion soup mix

1 small bottle Russian dressing

dot w/3 tablespoons butter/marg

cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours

serve over rice

optional: french fried onion rings on top
