Discipline Issue - Suggestions?

Started by Esther , author of Laugh With Us Blog 10/20/2010 1:49:24 PM

Today I published a blog post on how my husband and I handled a discipline issue regarding destruction of property.

How would you have handled it?  What could we do better next time?  How could I have used Scripture to get to the heart of the matter?  Next time I want to be better prepared!

That was perfect parenting. Nothing better should have been done. I probably would have done the same thing. Good for you and your hubby,?

I read your post and I think that you guys did a great job. One thing if I made add, just make her work a little harder to earn her money back. She will see how hard it is to make money and appreciate the things that has been purchase around the house with it. The value of things and how hard you have to work for it should really be the lesson she gets...

Thank you Sylvia!  I wouldn't want her to think that earning that money back is no sweat.  I've gotta be tough!  :)
