We are making adorable magnetic photo bookmarks.  They won't fall out and have pics of the kids.  http://smockityfrocks.blogspot.com/2009/06/photo-magnetic-bookmarks.html

We don't do professional portaits of our kids.  I know we are horrible parents...but that's beside the point.  I decided to do our own portait this year.  I used some of the funky settings on the camera and bought a big black piece of material from Hobby Lobby to use as a back drop.   I like how it turned out.  I'm waiting to post them on my blog till after Sunday.  Now he will have an updated photo of the kids at the office.  The old one doesn't even have all our kids in it...again that bad parent post is for another time. :)

One year, when my son was about 6 years old, we made a book for his dad.  We took construction paper and had him draw about 6-8 pictures with crayons and markers.  Each drawing filled up the entire piece of paper and related to things he liked doing with his dad.  They were about camping, working in the garden, playing baseball, etc.  I wrote on each page and titled the cover "Noah and Daddy - a true story".  Then I cut the paper in half, lined it up like a book and had it laminated and spiral-bound at Kinkos (you can do that for about $5-7).  It was precious and didn't cost much money at all.

Last year, we celebrated with making my hubby "King for the Day!" It was easy and fun. Here's the link:  http://www.wearethatfamily.com/2008/06/king-for-day.html

One year we bought a blank t-shirt for my Dad and using fabric paint we put all the kids' footprints on it with the saying "My kids walk all over me".  He loved it, and still wears it!

This year for my husband we made some stepping stones.  The kit was from Michael's.  I think he'll love them!

We are also going to make some Father's Day cards in the shape of a shirt and tie

I love hearing all of your great ideas!!

I was searching online for some fun craft ideas for dad....and came across this.  While it isn't specifically for Dad.....it is a great craft idea for the kids this summer!  I have been wanting to do a sewing project with my girls (6 and 3) but wanted something easy!  I am going to let them go pick out their own socks for their sock monkey!  I hope it will be a fun time!  http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1104

Sorry it isn't a Dad's Day craft....but, I wanted to be sure to share!

I just made a birthday present for my stepfather but I think it's a real easy and fun gift for father's day. It's a magnetic wrist band that he can use during building projects or car projects that will hold all the nails, nuts and bolts right where he needs them. You can check it out at: http://alltheyneed.wordpress.com/2010/02/25/manly-magnetic-wristband/ it only cost a little over $2. :)
