That's pretty normal I think! Its always a bit slower in January.

I've never done this - they've come to me so far. What types of companies do you pitch too and what do you say?

I pitch all kinds of companies, food, clothing, beauty products and etc. 

I just ask if they would be interested in sponsoring a review and or giveaway on my blog. I give them some stats like followers and such. :-) All you do is find companies you want to work with and go to there contact page and then email them. 

I have noticed it is pretty slow, but also no big campaigns going either. I am trying to find sponsors for events for the year and it is slow going.
