As I joined various blogging communities (besides BlogFrog) in the past few weeks, I've already hit the point with at least a couple of them that I wonder if it's even worth being a part of them.  Like, what are they offering me or what am I getting out of being a part of that community and posting that badge on my blog.

I was wondering if other bloggers have gone through that same thing.  Have any of you joined an online community or 2, to later realize you aren't really getting anything from being part of that community?
