I have loved bob jones for many years. But I am thinking of switching to SOS. It really comes down to money. BJU is $999 a child and not much of a discount when re used. SOS is $419 and can be reused with the next child.

Hey, it’s Rita! I’m desperate and need your help. Spam isn’t something I enjoy; therefore, I hope you feel this is more personal than that.

After having three children, I need to shed about 75 pounds. Where I live gets into the triple digits - there are days where it’s just not an option to take our baby out in this heat. Right now, I’m one of 20 finalists to win a Smooth Fitness treadmill. This contest ends tonight (Sunday). It’s super easy to vote for me. It only takes these three easy clicks:

 Visit this blog post: http://www.mamavation.com/2010/07/top-20-smooth-fitness-nominees-go-vote.html

Locate & check the box next to my name, @lovelyritaann, on the voting poll

 Click Vote

(*Please Note: You can vote from any & every device that has internet access – computers, laptops, phones, iPods, iPads, Nintendo DSi’s, etc.*)

It’s absolutely that simple. I’m a little behind; however, with amazing friends like you behind me, I could have a chance at winning this awesome prize that would change my life! It would be appreciated if you voted for me & shared this information in any way you can. My apologies on the short notice. I’m also hosting a giveaway for a $50 gift card on my blog for my voters, if I am to win. My giveaway was pre-approved by the contest creator before I posted it. Feel free to enter yourself & share this information! You can find my giveaway by visiting my blog post here:http://lovelyritaann.com/2010/07/26/vote-for-me-win-a-50-gift-card/

i have for years but recently it looked like rust came through my dishwasher and the maintence guy side it was rust at first and then he said it was vinegar.

i am just curious if this has happened to anyone else

This week my subscriber count according to Feedburner dropped dramatically into the 60's. They went back up after a couple of days to the high 200's (ok, not much but it's a lot to me!) and are now back down and showing 49.

Surely I can't have lost that many subscribers in such a short space of time.... could I?!

My dishwasher broke down at the weekend. I didn't break down along with it I'm happy to say. I was sad, because I find it such a great help to have, but keeping things in perspective meant that I was just grateful it wasn't my washing machine. I go into meltdown when my washing machine breaks!

Now, let's face it, compared to our grandparents and beyond we are spoilt! But what is the one appliance you can't do without?

Would you happily let go of your cooker and build a campfire or would you be lost without it? Or would you rather give up your washing machine?

After a lot of planning and talking and doing dh and I finally launched our little family business last week. We also got our Etsy store up and running too.

So it got me wondering. How many of you bloggers make stuff to sell? What do you do? Do you have an Etsy store or something else? Does your store have a blog especially for it or do you mention your wares in your "normal" blog?

Link up below and tell us about yourselves! I'd love to come and have a look!

Was it originally just a way of keeping a diary for yourself or to keep family and friends informed on the happenings in your life?

Did you imagine other people (strangers) wanting to read your blog regularly?

Did you ever give a thought that your blog may grow, or did you hope it would?

Was your original blog that you began with the one you have now or did you create a few before getting to where you are now?

How would you say your blogging has evolved?

How many of you would go back to your teenage years? I know I wouldn't! Too much peer pressure and too much... everything really! Not enough confidence or wisdom and so many things that in hindsight I'd do differently.

I wouldn't mind the teenage figure I had then though! And to think, I thought back then that I was fat! Pah!!

I was wondering if other bloggers have gone through that same thing. I won't take any offense to it, promise. :)
I added the MixPod last week. I like it on there, but realized that it might annoy most people to have music on when they are on the page. I know some others have music, too, but wanted to ask the overall opinions of what most people prefer.
Should I take it off completely, leave it but lower the volume level in the html code, or leave it as is. Thanks!

I suppose the perfect family image has been torn down, even though I never claimed that we were the perfect family. My reason that I did finally post it today was to show that we are only human, and deal with human problems like everyone else. We're a real family and our life isn't just about poop stories and cute photos. Anyway, do you censor what you blog about or do you put everything, good and bad, on your blog and why? We're in the UK where large families really aren't all that common to see at all. We homeschool, home-cook, keep chickens and are starting veggie growing this year. I quilt and my husband makes wonderful creations with wood (he's a joiner). Pleased to "meet" you!
