I knew that every baby would be different, but I didn't realize just how challenging this little one would be when it comes to sleeping. With the other boys, we had a king sized bed. So doing the family bed things wasn't a big issue. During all the moving about, J spent part of the night in a pack-n-play and part of the night in bed with us.
Now that we are finally in a permanent home, I've been trying to get him to sleep in the crib for part of the night. With the exception of one (glorious) night when he slept in it for almost 6 hours, getting him to sleep away from our bed is just not happening. At the moment, we are squeezing into a double bed. So, a growing, wiggly baby leads to parents not getting good rest.
Any suggestions for helping him learn to sleep that do not involve him screaming for hours?
