I like to make sure I have some healthy food options because eating junk all day makes my guests feel sick.

We usually try to have enough comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy watching. I try to put the trash can in a strategic place so no one has to hunt for it. We use paper products so there aren't a ton of dishes to clean up.

My tip is to make the food ahead of time or get catering so you can enjoy the party with your friends and family! One party I ended up constantly cooking throughout the party and then cleaning up afterwards!

Pre-make as much as you can, so you're not stuck in the kitchen all day. If you have coolers, you can use milk cartons that you've washed out good to make blocks of ice that will last longer so you can get all your extra canned and bottled drinks good and cold without taking up space in your freezer.

My tip is to make list and check twice so you don't forget anything. Make things ahead of time so you can be a good hostess and not stuck in the kitchen. I always set up a bar area with all the drinks and ice and supplies so guests can feel comfortable getting their own drinks. There is, also, a buffet table set up in another room from the game room so the tv is not blocked or obstructed. As long as you have lots of food & drinks and good friends you'll have a successful party. We have trivia questions for prizes during the quarter & halftime breaks.
