Sounds like a good post, Brandie!  Could you give us the link to it.

I love motherhood.  It challenges me to grow in ways I would not otherwise.  But it also brings out the worst in me, too, at times.  It's kind of like a white gloved test on your house, or dusting in the light verses the dark.  It shows the good and the bad at the same time.

I agree that becoming a mother brings a new perspective (and challenges!) that one previously couldn't have imagined, but there are so many other good reasons. I actually wrote a short post about my favorite things about motherhood a little while ago.

I tend to believe that God gives you the kids you *need*, not necessarily the ones you "want".  :)   With this, comes a huge amount of learning and growth that I must admit I otherwise might not tackle in my life.  And boy, do my kiddos continue to
"teach" me everyday!!!  :)
