Holy, don't envy you!!!

I think the pink crayon that was left in the backseat of our car taht melted...still can't get it entirely out (ironed, & ironed, but still pink!!!)

On Christmas eve, I was making sweetrolls for the morning.  My son, age 3, came in and got the strawberry syrup.  He started walking toward the living room.  I caught him though.  I did not see him come back.  He snuck out the chocolate syrup.  All of a sudden I heard "MOMMY!".  I ran to the living room to find my carpet had been drizzed and puddles of choclate syrup everywhere.  I'm so thankful I Have a 13 yo.  Removed the perpetrator from my grasp and headed for the bathroom.  I turned to my 7 yo and asked, "did you not see your brother?".  Nope, she was ingrossed in the TV.  I cried and got a bucket of water with dishwashing liquid and pinesol and scrubbed and scrubbed the carpet. I had to get it up.  There was a trail behind the couch and a puddle of it on the wooden floor.   Sigh.  Everyone lived and the syrup now lives in the upper cupboard,

:-) Such is life. I remember one of our little ones covering the bathroom mirror, and every other surface in the bathroom with Vaseline. I should have guessed the peace and quiet was too good to be true.
