Weakness

Is there something in your life where you are feeling particularly weak today?

Has there been a time where you did not think you could complete a task at hand but a friend came along and gave you strength?

What is something you find when reading about Aaron and Moses' relationship?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Exodus 17:11 reads, "So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed." Eventually, Moses became weary, and so Aaron and Hur responded by holding up his arms until the Israelites were able to finally defeat the Amalekites."

I love how Moses' friends were there to support him (literally!)  What a blessing friendship is.  I have a friend, Tricia, who has stayed by me through thick and thin.  She's prayed for me and with me.  God has used her to strengthen me during weak times.  She hasn't ever judged me, but she's always been honest with me.  I am so blessed to call her my friend!

It is such a blessing to reach out to friends when you are troubled and feeling helpless,

It is a challenge for me however to stay truly connected with my friends when I have shared my difficulties with them.  I feel they are going to turn and hurt me or not understand.  So I then begin to push them away.  I think I may have done this most of my ife.

And now when I have a severe hardship in my life I find I am once again pushing my good friend away.

I feel too weak for the task at hand so many days.. I am full time caregiver for my husband who has a brain injury and at times it is overwhelming emotionally. I can only draw strength through prayer and encouragement of good Christian friends.
