I thought it might be nice to share some of our favorite "methods" for having a quiet time with the Lord. As for me, I love to get up pretty early in the morning, pour a cup of coffee and spend time in His word and pray. I started doing this when my kids were little and still at home. What began as being "the only time available", turned into my favorite time of day! When weather permits, I even go out on my patio, sometimes with a quilt wrapped around my shoulders, to spend my time with Him. It is so peaceful at that time of day when the birds are only just waking up. An added bonus is that I feel fully prepared to face the world when I start it that way with Him.
What are some ways you all enjoy your quiet time?

Why The Son Became a Man

“The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.”

We would head on over to my grandparents place and in our new Easter dresses we would look for all the eggs that were hidden in her yard. With my own kids, when they were little we colored eggs, we did the empty tomb cookies, and hid eggs for them to find. What about your family?

Words of Wisdom

“Everything that a man leans upon but God—will be a dart which will certainly pierce his heart through and through.
