Do you Talk to Your Bloggy Friends on the Phone - or Meet in Person?

I have met a lot of my bloggy friends in real life. Of course I consider my bloggy friends real life friends too. More and more I find that I am talking to blog friends on the phone as well.
How about you. Are your on-line friends strictly on-line?
I'll be back later with a list of friends that have gone beyond my laptop!

I do email a few of my bloggy friends ;-) I would love to meet some of my bloggy friends. There are not to many here in New England. I really think it would be fun to meet up with them, as long as you really know who they are.

I don't think I would ever go alone, just to be on the safe side. Never really thought about the phone! I have a hard enough time just talking to my friends on the phone! Never enough time around here.

Blessings-

Rachelle

If I had more time to talk on the phone I would totally call my blog friends more often, including you, Toni.  :-)

I actually think meeting your blog friends in person or on the phone is one of the best things you can do to get you excited about blogging.  Blogging can be isolating since you do it alone, and only 1/15 moms blog.  As soon as you get together, it takes on a whole new meaning.  That's why conferences are so amazing.

Before blogging, I have met up with other moms I met on baby & homeschooling forums. One woman I knew on a forum actually knows my daughter & her mother in AZ from their homeschool group though I've never met the woman myself.

I think it's wonderful to meet up with people you meet online. And I even married one.

I'm looking forward to meeting my blogging friends at Blissdom. I have met one friend in person, Amy at MomAdvice, she lives about 1 hr from me, she taught me how to knit. It was lots of fun!

That must have been fun, Amy is a sweetheart.
I have met quite a few of my bloggy friends, but hope to meet many more in February at Blissdom.
I am supposed to meet up with Joy and Alyssa next weekend, I can't wait!

I've met Joy from Five J's a couple of times and am meeting a Twitter friend next week.  I chat with bloggy friends - not so much on the phone.  The longer I blog the more foreign the phone becomes...not sure if that's a good thing.  :)

I had a similar experience as Anne-Marie.  I had been blogging/Twitter friends with a great lady who ran a local radio station.  She invited my business partner, Rustin, and I to be interviewed on her radio show, then we discovered our kids go to the same school and are friends. Very small world. I've met several great blog friends at conferences and local "meet-ups" and it has really expanded my circle of IRL (in real life) relationships.

Toni - I'm hoping to go to Blissdom as well!
