How many kids do you have?

Started by Rustin , author of Rustin Banks - Unplugged 8/12/2009 9:16:07 AM

Can anyone beat Toni with 7?  I have three, 5, 3, and 8 weeks.

I'm totally drawn to the blogs of large families (have you read Raising Olives? She homeschools 9 kids too!).  How in the world can you take care of lots of kids (not to mention homeschool) and find time to blog?

Nope I can't,wish I could have more but that book has been closed for me.

But God has blessed me with 3 wonderful children and one precious angel in Heaven.

I really wanted to have 5 but well I guess I will have to wait on Grandbabies one day!!! LOL

Tammy-
Three kids is awesome. I always wanted three but God gave us seven, lol!
Now that our family has grown, I am always wondering if I will have a lot of grand kids. I would love a ton, but obviously that is not in my hands.

LOL, I know that there are a lot of people who have more than us, but we have 9 children. Ages 12, 11, 10, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3 and 1.  We pray that we will have more, but that is not in our hands.

Kimberly-
I do think large families are a lot of fun. Yesterday we had 4 extra boys over at the house and a barely noticed! I am so use to a houseful the extra people just blend in.
I have also become much more relaxed the more kids I have, I guess I don't have a choice!

I wanted at least four, and was blessed with three, ages 19, 17, and 13. And I'm 37. I guess I figured if I started young, I'd have a lot. LOL. Oh well ... that book has been closed for me too, but I am thankful for the ones I do have.

As for finding time to blog with all those children ... I have no idea how they do it! None. Nada. Zip. I just sit back and admire what they do...

I only have three (13, 13, 12) but my one son's father is the youngest of 14 children (yes, all born to the same parents).

I have 4 children but I'm open to whatever God gives me. Two years ago I felt like my family was missing someone. Even after having my son last August I still feel like someone is missing!

I realized that I have asked Toni this question before,

"How do you manage to do all the blogging and raise kids"

Her answer was... "I don't sleep much".  Anyone else notice their sleep time decrease since they started blogging?

I do not have children yet, but here is my bit. I would never want just one child. As of now I would say 2 or 3. But I am sure my view may change over time and once I become a parent. My biggest fear is not being able to bear my own children, but I do know there are many children in the world in need of a loving home and no matter what road I  end up following, God will bless me with a beautiful family someday.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for you mothers with large families.

I know Toni already knows this ....

God has blessed us ten children so far ! we have a 15, 11, 10, 9, 7, 6, 5, 3, gonna be 2, and an 8wk .

Yes they are all ours, we enjoy every minute, and yes I do have a few of those days ! I love being home and thankful God has allowed us to have each of our children.

We look forward to God's plan and seeing if he will give us anymore blessings.

Have a great day.
Blessings-
Rachelle
