Best Animated Movie for Families

Started by The Happy Housewife , author of The Happy Housewife 7/6/2011 5:00:10 AM

Does your family have a favorite movie? When I sat down to write this post I had trouble thinking of my family's favorite animated film. There are so many good ones (and so many bad ones) I can't keep them straight most of the time.

I asked my daughter for her opinion and she said without hesitating, "Toy Story!" I have to agree. I remember when Toy Story first came out, I thought wow, this is a movie that my kids love and the grownups are laughing too. Good-bye Barney, hello Pixar!

The Toy Story films have been a family favorite around here for years. My boys even wore out a Buzz Lightyear costume after wearing it almost every day for several years, including to church!

I'd have to agree. I am the type of person who does not really like cartoon movies but I LOVE toystory. I can watch that one over and over again with my kiddos.

It's hard to pick just ONE... I think it would be a tie between Monster Inc. & Despicable Me.

We really like Toy Story 3 - I think we've seen it, um, about 5 or 6 times!

Connie- It sounded like Cars 2 didn't get as good of reviews as the original Cars. Have you seen the second one?

I am not sure I can pick one. There are so many good ones.

Alicia- I saw part of that movie at the drive-in. I had a toddler in the car with me so I didn't get to see it all. It was good!
