CJane has thousands of like-minded readers and you may not be aware that you can actually talk to each other here in this forum.  You can ask questions, reply to discussions, offer advice, discuss your favorite CJane post, or just find out more about the other moms who read this blog. We'd all love to know more about you.

I'll even go first :)  I'm Holly (from TheBlogFrog).  I'm a mom to 3 boys (two are 13 and one is about to turn 12).  I juggle baseball practice, guitar lessons, hockey games, sleep-overs, bike injuries and am a beginner runner. I still manage to sneak a vegetable in my kids each day and work full-time building blog communities tools with Rusty.  I read CJane because she is an incredibly gifted and inspiring writer and mom.  I wish I could write like she does.

Tell us about YOU!

i found my way to cjane while reading the blog of "scott and carol decker" a couple that live in the same small town i do.  on the blog i kept reading comments beginning with, "i found you by way of nie nie or cjane".  i finally had to come see who these two were.  i've been a fan ever since.  cjane makes me smile.  makes me laugh.  makes me open my eyes and take it all in.  and she's inspired me to finally explore my passion for photography--don't you love the photos she posts?

my name is mari (pronounced mary)  i live in western washington.  i have 2 grown sons.  when i say grown i mean they have graduated from college and have happy careers.  dylan, the almost 30 year old, lives in nyc.  zak, the almost 26 year old, lives in seattle.  i am craving grandchildren, but so far i have only been gifted with grand-dog named danny.  i adore danny, the border collie/wolf, and i am happy to be his "grammy'.

i don't work outside the home.  my husband has cancer and has been on chemo for 5 years--we are thankful for the research and the fact that as his cancer advances so does the research to keep it at bay.  not gone, but the chemo fights a good fight and mr. roll is still here.  this is good.  we also have my mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s living with us.  while we have 2 caretakers who come in to help, it is a 24/7 job.

i love to work in the yard soaking up the vit.d, and enjoying the fruits of my labor in the meals i prepare.  i love to cook.  when i'm in the kitchen i pretend i'm a cooking show host and talk through all the chopping and stirring, etc.  what can i say, it's fun.

blessing to you all.

Hello, I also started reading cjane keeping up with Nie. I like cjane's style of writing.

I'm from Texas, my husband from Orem. We met in Idaho and now we are in Oklahoma. We love living here and raising our family of 3, which now consist of a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and a beautiful grandson, with another grandbaby on the way. We have a 15 yr old at home who keeps us young at heart. I LOVE being a grandma and watching my grandson go through different stages of life, chuckling to myself, because his mother was the same way! hehe. I work at an University, in the dept. of Entomology and Plant Pathology. I don't like bugs, but I now have a respect for them. Nice meeting everybody and see what the other half of the world is up to.

Sharon

Hi, I'm Amy!

After four long years of waiting, I finally was blessed with the birth of my son, Landon.  I We currently live in West Texas while my husband goes to Physical Therapy school. Although I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, I stay home with Landon, and I just love it.  I started my blog to stay in touch with friends and keep the intellectual half of my brain fresh.

Here's to hoping the next lovely child doesn't take so long to get here...

Nice to meet you all!

Hi - I'm Amanda, an occasional blogger myself, but mostly just a lurker on other's blogs. Like everyone else here, I love c jane's sense of humor and perspective on life. I work in licensing for the Government, and in my spare time, I knit, sew (clothes, quilts, whatever), and love Pilates. I've been married for 6 years to my wonderful husband, and we have no children and no plans for any. Nice to "meet" y'all!

I'm, well, just a regular person. I love to blog but have serious cjane blog envy. I love to read, I type 107 wpm, I have 2 kids, and I love to breakdance.

Just kidding about the breakdancing thing.

Emily

My name is Maya.  I am happily married to my husband of two years, Mark, and we have a 5 month old son named Miles (no, all the Ms weren't intentional!).   We moved to California when Miles was 2 weeks old, after living apart for 7 months so my husband could start work out here and I could finish grad school and have our baby in Ohio.

I'm a SAHM right now, but I'll confess that some days I really miss school and working.  I've picked up gardening as a hobby.  I blog about Marfan syndrome (which I have) and the ins and outs of our daily lives at http://tempuri.org/tempuri.html.

I love reading Cjane everyday because I think her writing style is fabulous!

And Laura, I'm another LDS who also lives outside of Utah :-)

My name is Michael Murphy and I was fortunate enough to meet THE Courtney (and sister Page and their wonderful parents) while Stephanie and Christian were here with us at the Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the communications director here so I worked with a lot of the media following Stephanie's ordeal. I am not yet hip enough to have a blog but would invite you to join our Facebook fan page. Look for Maricopa Integrated Health System or simply go here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Phoenix-AZ/Maricopa-Integrated-Health-System/170335985095?ref=ts#/pages/Phoenix-AZ/Maricopa-Integrated-Health-System/170335985095?ref=ts

I look forward to seeing you!
