Where's the best place to order business cards? Which places should be avoided?

I LOVE overnightprints.com!  I ordered 1000 double sided business cards for only $40 (was able to use a $10 coupon) and they are GREAT quality.
You can see a pic of my cards in this blog post:

Best of luck!

Indeed Overnightprints.com is very good, cheap and the quality is pretty good. Not sure of the design of you cards but best to always go with gloss front  and none in the back, in case people want to write something, they can use the back without a problem.

i do my own on my home printer and it works out great.  i am not in a professional business but even so?  it'd work out great.  i use my blog logo and then the same font for the personal / contact information.  i love my cards.  cheap, too.

I have always used Vista Print. They are extremely affordable. However, you will want to customize your own design. I find that when pay for a "designer" from that company - uhhh, let's just say you don't get a designer.

If you're looking to hire someone to do the design (or any other professional jobs) look into Elance.com. I have hired professionals from there for years (for jobs ranging from blog design to web programming). You post your job (you can do it for free, but I usually pay the 15 bucks to have it highlighted) and your inbox fills up in hours with offers from eager worker bees (whose portfolios and client feedback are available for your review). It's a really useful platform. And fun.

I won some from VistaPrint at a twitter party.  I love them.  They match my blog they have a picture on them and they were free.  They send me a LOT of emails about promotions.  You should check them out.

If you're in a time crunch, Staples lets you design on your computer and as long as you press 'order' before 4 (check your local store's hours) you can pick them up that night --- 1,000 were under $70 when I did it a few months ago.
