International Delight Iced Coffee Sponsored Conversation

Started by Milisa , author of Miss in the Kitchen — Quick and delicious family style recipes. 6/27/2012 5:00:10 AM

Summer has really arrived this past week in Wyoming.  It has been blazing hot, almost too hot to drink coffee. Almost. So, I was very happy to find the new International Delight Iced Coffee.  It is creamy and delicious and is perfectly sweet just like I like it!  Plus it is ready to go right out of the refrigerator!

My boys all love popsicles and in this heat there is nothing better than an ice cold popsicle, so I decide some Mom-friendly popsicles were in order.  It couldn't have been easier! 2 ingredients and in less than five minutes I had them in the freezer.

International Delight Iced Coffee-Chocolate Chip Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup International Delight Iced Coffee Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Directions:

Place International Delight Iced Coffee and chocolate chips into a blender and blend for 30-45 seconds or until chips are chopped small and iced coffee is frothy.

Stir well with a spatula and pour into popsicle molds or four 2 oz paper cups.  Place a small piece of foil over each cup and insert a wooden stick into the center of each.

(I used wooden skewer sticks that I cut in half and removed the sharp end.)

Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours.  Remove foil and paper cup and eat!

Enjoy!

What a fun idea for a popsicle! And the addition of chocolate chips? Brilliant!

Watermelon. Love it fresh picked from the garden.

Pinned! Thanks for the idea; I can't wait to try them! My favorite summer taste is a BLT. Although my mom & I live far apart, we always call when we eat our first BLT of the year. There's just something about that fresh leaf lettuce & sweet sun-ripened tomato that softly whispers, "You made it. Summer is here!"

I pinned! My favorite taste of summer is watermelon. The popsicles look yummy and we just bought some International Delight iced coffee, mocha, and I went to Ikea this morning and got some popsicle molds for only $2! Perfect time to try this, thanks! :)

I pinned them! They are SO cute! There are so many great tastes of summer, but iced coffee is definitely at the top of my list. Followed by lemon flavored anything, and watermelon. :)

Your pops look really refreshing and I pinned it! My favorite summer treat is a dinner of fresh corn-on-the-cob, next to sliced tomatoes fresh from the garden. It just doesn't get any better than that!
