I have painted my sons nails. I will probably paint his brothers nails when he gets old enough to ask me to.  I dont do it because I dont have girls and I want to do 'girl' things.  I do it because they are kids and they dont know that its supposedly 'wrong' for boys to have painted nails. 

On a more personal note, I dont believe in forcing my sons to wear boy color (what is a boy color really?) and to play with boy toys. My older sons favorite color is pink and my younger son has worn plenty of ponytails before his summer cut.  They both like dolls.   Of course they beat up other dolls with their dolls on monster search and rescue teams because kids are versatile like that.

I don't think it would be harmfull, but probably not.  If he wanted his nails painted; i would give him a hand or foot massage so he feels special also.

No, but not because of gender issues...because he sucks and chews on his hands.

I have one daughter and two boys...my daughter has painted her brothers toe nails while they were sleeping....funniest thing ever and then she will hide the finger nail polish remover....I personally would not paint my boys nails....lol but my daughter is a brave one....

I would maybe paint one just so they could see what it looked like then take if off. Sometimes, they are just curious and it wouldn't hurt anything if they're young 

It'd depend on his age, the reason for wanting it done and how well equipped I felt he was for any possible repercussions from people. 

No, I wouldn't.  I've seen many children in my school suffer from teasing for doing it.  not worth it
