I grew up with ONLY a/c - now I prefer to just have fresh air and fans going and use the a/c when it's really hot out. What's your preference?
In the spring I like to try to just open windows and use fans. But my allergies are worse now than when I was a kid, and often we have to close up the house and just turn on the A/C.
Definitely A/C! It gets so hot and humid here a fan just doesn't do it.
I prefer fans when I can get away with it and not sweat. A/C is needed many days in the summer here tho.
I love the fresh air, and open windows. I save the ac for those really hot, unbearable days. I much prefer the fresh air.
We rarely get hot enough around here to own an air conditioner so it's fresh air for us :)
I hear you! I can't wait for those crisp fall days when we can just have the windows open, though :)
You are lucky! How hot does it usually get in the PNW in the summer?
Well we do get SOME hot days but mostly it stays around 70's to 80's. I hate to complain but we get so little sunshine that we really need some heat so we don't mold around here :) LOL
I love fall too!
As you know where I live it is always hot, but I still prefer fresh air, but have to do a lot of a/c due to mu husband's preference, he just can't sleep without it.
