Do you use borax soap?

Started by Dawn , author of Daily Adventures of a Work at Home Mom 6/30/2012 2:15:31 PM

Borax soap is a natural soap that you can add to your laundry.  It helps to soften hard water and there are many other uses for it too.

I like the way it helps my clothes feel softer and cleaner after washing them.  Have you ever used it as an additive? It is cheap for a box of it.

yes, I have tried it.

There are so many uses for Borax. I have a friend who washes all her vegetables in it. I really want to start doing more research on Borax and it's many uses.

I just got some to make laundry detergent! I was surprised to see all the different uses, though!

I used it in the carpet when we had a flea infestation last year.  Too many wild cats last year and I didn't use my garlic spray enough last year to keep the yard clear of them.

It is supposed to help and I noticed it did seem to help, but it was a little thick and powdery when vacuumed lol!

I've never tried it, but have heard it can work wonders!
