I only have a cat so no she takes care of that herself.  I don't get to brush her, but bringing her outside and petting the loose hair works well too lol! She loves attention and being pet, but you can't dare go near her with the kitty brush so I don't push it.

Thank goodness she bathes herself.  I had to give her a bath once when she got fleas and yeah it didn't go well :) Let's just say that my sweet little kitty scratched me more times then she ever thought she could trying to get out of that bath tub!!

I love cats for that very reason :)  But no water for them for sure..OUCH Dawn :(

LOL - ours likes to swim, so that helps with the smell.  But then she smells like pond water....

Wow OneMommy good for you for doing it so often..our poor dog is lucky to get a bath about once a month..and that's when nobody can stand to smell him anymore:(

Ouch is an understatement! She wanted out of the tub at all costs lol :)

Oh wow, do I have a story.

One of my farm animals got attacked last night by either dogs or coyotes; one ear is 3/4 torn& shredded apart, the other ear with bite/claw marks & her neck punctured & gashed. Yeah... All this with hubster out oftown & I was about to take a 4-day vacay :( needless to say, I have been mending what I can, watching her closely to see if she survives.

I'm so grateful for helpful, available neighbors!!

Ooohhh Kristen I am soooo sorry :(  I will pray for you and your farm animal:(  I'm sorry your hubby is also out of town..what a bummer!

We have lost 3 cats to coyotes in the past year! :(  We won't be getting more.  Either that or it's the huge owls :(

I'll pray!

Thank you, Shari:) things have stabilized with her, so I took the kids to the beach & to hang with some of my girl-friends. Thankfully, it looks like she will probably recover-- whew, after injecting antibiotics, applying salve, and mucking the stall out... I'm so glad now to know I've done what I can & she just needs to mend, and that she seems to be on her way to recovery:) AND that I've got some great friends & neighbors who are available to help me with
the unexpected, & look after things while I'm gone! Thank you for your kind words & the prayer ;) farm life can be challenging with unexpected situations!

Sidenote-sorry to hear about your cats -- around here we've got to be careful to put up our chickens at night to protect them from the owls :(

I'm so glad to hear you farm animal is doing better and that you got to catch a break!  Yes ...our cats insisted on going outside..:(  My daughter wanted another but I said "nope not feeding the wild animals :("  We're getting a hamster!

Yes I do.  And I usually get groomed in the process and feel as though I had a sudden growth of body hair.  I found in the summer the outdoor bath is the best way to make it fun for everyone.  If you wear water wicking workout clothes you can actually make it a water fight that's fun with the kids and pets!  &;)

Plus, my shampoo smells much better than the groomers.

LOL..you make pet grooming sound so fun Nicole!!
