Hi again Malika:) To answer your 2nd question:
One of the main reasons pH is low in soda is
because of the phosphoric acid. Phosphoric acid lowers the pH
levels in our bodies to what is known as “chronic” levels. Not
full-blown metabolic acidosis, but enough of a drop in pH that
causes our body’s defense systems to go into overdrive to
rebalance. This rebalancing causes our systems to rob alkaline
minerals from our bones, teeth, muscles, and body fluids to help
gain the vital blood pH balance of 7.35 – 7.45. While your body is
thieving from itself, your cells are being inundated with acids;
this makes them unable to receive and use the proper levels of
oxygen. (Alkaline solutions absorb oxygen, acidic solutions repel
it). Our bodies thrive in an oxygenated state, using it to produce
the energy we need for everything that takes place in and out of
our body: your heart beat, the thoughts you are having right now as
you read this, the bike ride you took earlier...oxygen is mainly
responsible for all of it. Drinking soft drinks (full-sugared or
diet, doesn’t matter!) robs us of our sustained energy levels, our
needed minerals, and our long-term good health! It just doesn’t
make sense to drink something so harmful! We highly recommend
drinking lots of water & considering our amazing concentrated
mineral drop: pH Thrive. www.yourpHlife.com/pHThrive.
If you haven't taken our pH quiz, that might be interesting for you
as well www.yourpHlife.com/pHquiz.
It tells you more about your internal chemistry. I'd love to
know your score:) Nic
