Welcome, friends! I hope to get into discussion with many out there who may be looking for information and support from other parents who have been down the sometimes bumpy road of special education. Whether it is Autism, LD, Emotional, or any of the categories...we all have a story to tell. From evaluations, to IEP's, 504's, yada,yada,yada... As many parents and I have agreed having a special needs child many times is like having a second career between learning the laws, advocating, meetings, therapies and so on. I always joke and say I really do need an administrative assistant. Maybe you homeschool or utilize traditional public, charter..whatever the case, please feel free to join us for discussion and let's provide a place where everyone knows they are not alone.
