Love the healthy buffalo dip, but I'm hoping baby girl arrives and SuperBowl Sunday is super low key. Successful party equals good friends gathered together with lots of tasty snacks and drinks..we are pretty low maintenance.

I like foods that I can prep ahead of time, then just set out or quickly warm up when friends arrive. Leaves more time to enjoy the company and the game! (and of course the commercials!)

Those all look awesome! I'm the 3rd category..I like to watch the commercials but get bored after the 1st set and go graze the food. Then talk about maybe going shopping and joining the other football widows, but that never pans out so I take a shower and get in bed. :)

The easier the food, the better - this isn't a place for fancy food!! We are making"sin Dip" this year - look it up on the P -it's addictive!

I agree with the chili suggestion - it's always a hit and even better if you can do it in the crockpot! I like to set out various toppings so that people can top it any way they like, too.

I would love eat every one of these items you have listed. We used to do Chili, but for about 5 years running now, we only eat Nachos. With about 5 pounds of cheese melted all over them. I am in the "mostly here for the party" camp, unless I really like one of the teams playing. Thankfully, we are all allowed to talk during the game, just not as much usual....

1. Plan out in advance or have a potluck style meal. Guests can bring a side dish, dessert or beverage. Helps cut down on prep and organization time. Stock up on disposable plates, utensils, napkins and plenty of ice. 2. Focus on finger food that is easy and can be prepared before hand - guacamole, nachoes, deviled eggs (decorated as a football), peanuts/trail mix, olives/crackers & cheese, veggies & dip, sweet potato fries. Of course, have wings on the grill a few hours before kick off time. 3. Clean house and bathrooms, setup seating areas and serving stations. Stock cooler or fridge with beer and other beverages.
