Excited about our first visit to KOA

Hi everyone!

This July is going to be the first time we are taking the family to KOA. We going to the Port Huron, MI KOA, and everyone is so excited. We reseved a lodge and are really hoping to have lots of fun.

Sadly, we have never been to any KOA. So I am kinda not sure what to expect... I have been reading many of the discussions on here and they have been so helpful. :o)

Well back to planning.

How fun for you guys. I know you are going to love it there. If you have any questions at all during your planning process, just ask. There are so many helpful people in the community.

Excellent campground, especially, for kids! It's definitely one of the best in Michigan!

Glad to hear that Scott. We only live about 45 mins away, and I never even knew it was there. I guess it's kind of a hidden gem. We are thinking about checking out a couple other KOA's in Michigan as well.

We did book for one of the Halloween Weekend's in October at the Port Huron KOA. I heard that is a blast for the family. :-)

Just came back from my first KOA trip. And although my kids are older and so I took a friend instead, we had a blast! So have fun and tell us about it after the trip.

I love camping close to home. The car ride doesn't drain you and if you forget something important it isn't the end of the world!

Plus you still feel like you really had a vacation when you get home. I hope you have a great trip.
