My biggest tip is to STOCK up on healthy items when there is a coupon or a good deal for them. I have seen coupons for items like fresh strawberries, Driscoll's berries, fruit, meat, nuts, organic crackers, teas, 100% whole juice and more. I will admit, they do not come out as often as we'd like so that is why I recommend stocking up on them when there is a coupon and then freezing them or storing them.

A unique tip I learned from one of my readers is to freeze your eggs! She recommends cracking them all, beating them and pouring them into an ice tray. One cube is equal to about 1 egg! =) Great topic by the way!

Also if there are specific items you are brand loyal too, make sure and check the specific manufacturer's website. We drink only organic milk, and prefer Stoneyfield Farms. They have coupon that you are allowed only one print of, but they change their coupons once a month, so I know I at least get cheaper milk once a month! (Also, I almost always get a catalina for $1,50 off two half gallons each time I buy two, so that helps too.)

Another thing would be to write to the companies in question, praising their product. I recently did this for fat-free frozen yogurt from Turkey Hill, and they sent me a PILE of coupons.

www.greenmomsmeet.com, is an excellent site! especially for bloggers, mom group leaders, etc.

they work kind of like www.houseparty.com, but everything is all natural, organic and so on.

they will send email invites to members, and you have to fill out a very short survey, for different products, ecover, method, stoneyfield farms, earths best, seventh generation, etc.

they have a great set up, and also offer coupons time and time again through their site. as well as webinars on a variety of topics.

kashi also has a great community. they send coupons and samples through the mail.

www.recyclebank.com is another super site! if your trash collectors do not work with them, you can still earn points thru surveys, watching videos, etc. they have a good variety of coupons to exchange you r points for!! recently, they had a coupon for a free bag of Wonderful pistachios;p

I went to earthbound to see about there products (since there was a sale at my store).  They had a test on organic farming and once you passed the test (I took it 3 times).  You got a coupon from them.  So, check out the companies that you like or are on sale.

Healthier items are harder to come by, but there are always healthy options. I have tons of coupons for produce, nuts, healthy cereals and oatmeal, healthy yogurts(for my toddler i'm not a dariy fan) and cheeses. And ground turkey (we use instead of beef, MUCH HEALTHIER) YOu just have to be looking for it, and just because you have a coupon you don't have to use it. TRADING it something I recommend for things like that! =)

Hi,

In California, target, wlamart and costco carry organic items.I've gotten organic coffee and baby food from Traget for a good price matching sales with coupons. When there is a sale, I stock up. I've even gotten good deals at Whole Foods by watching their circular and matching coupons from their website, store newsletter and the manufacturer. I like the website OrganicDeals.com! Hope this helps!!

I subscribed to receive emails from this site:

http://www.organicdeals.com/

I've received emails with links to organic product coupons (a recent email alerted me to coupons for Amy's products), and some emails alert me to deals on organic products at stores which may or may not be local.
