Yes, it is Pi Day. You know, 3/14 or 3/14?

So, to celebrate such a splendid day let's talk pie. What's your favorite pie to eat (or make)?

I'm not a pie baker either. I just never seem to master the flaky crust. And who likes a soggy crust on the bottom?

Strawberry rhubarb pie!  It is simple to make and pure joy to eat.  The combination of the sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb is simply divine.

I've only had rhubarb pie once and it was very good. It's just not something I see a great deal here in the southwest. My mom made it when she lived in Michigan. She said rhubarb grew wild along the highway.
