After 12 years of A Beka and Bob Jones (and various others), we stumbled across the Robinson Curriculum.  It seems too good to be true, let me tell you!  BUT, it truly is THAT amazing!  We just finished our second year and our evaluator was SO impressed with our work!  Homeschooling goes hand in hand with our Messianic faith and is a way of life for us!

I checked out the Robinson Curriculum and that looks very interesting!  I am so glad that it works out for your family!

Last year we used A.C.E. and while I like it (I used it when I was home educated) it was not enough of a challenge for the boys and they got very bored.  It was good in the fact that it gave me plenty of time to find other things that we wanted to use while they finished out their grade levels.

So this year, I did a DIY curriculum.  Hopefully they will stay excited and challenged through this year!  Here is the run down for 2011-2012:

Math-Saxon

English-Easy Grammar, All About Spelling, The Exciting World of Creative Writing, (with Noah Websters 1828 Dictionary to compare definitions from then to now).

History-Truth Quest History (American History For Young Students 1), We The People, (with Drive Thru History and For You They Signed as fillers).

Science-Exploring Creation With General Science (with Life Science For Christian Schools, The New Book of Popular Science, and Building Blocks in Life Science for fillers).

Bible-Balancing The Sword, as well as the daily Parsha and Siddur Prayers (the Parsha and Siddur prompt really awesome questions and make them really think)!
