Our Redbox Cars 2 Movie Review + Win a Trip for 4 to the Kennedy Space Center! #redboxsummerfamilyfun

My son is crazy about the Disney/Pixar Cars franchise. As soon as he could string a few words together, he'd call the handful of toy cars he had from the movie his, "cars got eyes." His collection started with a handful of diecast cars my nephews decided to share with him, and the entire lot is easily his most prized possession.

When Redbox recently sent me a link to their list of Summer Family Fun movie titles with the invitation to watch one with my kids, I immediately knew we'd be renting Cars 2. Haiden and Piper have seen the original Cars several times, but they've never tired of it and we've just never had an easy opportunity to watch the sequel.

A "surprise" movie is a rare treat in our house, so it was kind of fun not bringing home the movie in the box.   I was able to pop Cars 2 in the DVD player and start it up while Haiden and Piper had no idea they were going to watch a new movie!

Haiden insisted on wearing his Lightning McQueen pajamas during the movie, and he proudly displays every inch of them in his Cars 2 video review below:

Does the Avengers count? That was MY favorite movie, but my daughter's favorite movie was Spiderman!

Does the entire Harry Potter franchise count? If not I loved Madagascar. It was hilarious as always.

I have older teens. Their favorite movie has been Batman. Mine has been Rock of Ages. Love using Red Box!

By far our fave has been Madagascar 3 - I even enjoyed it more than a typical 'kid movie' - I laughed really hard.

I really want to take my son to Brave. He is obsessed with Avengers, but hasn't even seen the movie!

There have been so many! We enjoyed, We Bought A Zoo and Dolphin Tale.

My toddler won?t sit through a movie quite yet, but she loves to watch episodes of Dora. I?ve heard so many great things about The Lorax. I can?t wait to watch it as a family.

My boys are stuck on Cars 1 and 2. They also love The Karate Kid.
