I have 4 kids, three of which are adults, living their own lives but my last one....my baby, is 16 and she is really giving me a run for my money let me tell ya!!! i was raised in an extremely controlling enviroment and spent more than half my youth being grounded, sooooo I decided when my children were young that I wasnt going to be a controlling manipulative mother. I wanted to raise my children to be individuals, to be their own people and support them in the choices that they made for themselves. I was firm but not so much if ya know what i mean??? My kids have always been honest with me, almost too honest sometimes ( a little more info then I need to know) Well, it worked with my older kids but my 16 yr old is pushing it to the limit and now I have to be the BAD guy and I'm having a really hard time with it, soooo my question to you all is: have any of you been through this? How have you dealt with it? And what was your outcome or are you STILL dealing with it??
